On March 4, 2025, a delegation from the Qatar-Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce, including CEO Aidos Koldassov and International Development Advisor Aldiyar Zhiyentayev met with International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center (IGTIC), an entity under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to explore opportunities for collaboration in green technologies.

The discussion highlighted IGTIC's initiatives, including promoting the Green Bridge Partnership Program , which aims to facilitate access to green technology and investment, as well as share management experiences among MENA and European countries and organizations.

On January 14, 2025, Power International Holding (PIH) successfully completed the acquisition of 100% of Mobile Telecom-Service LLP, which operates under the Tele2 and Altel brands. This marks the completion of an agreement originally signed in Doha in 2024 between PIH, Kazakhtelecom JSC, and Samruk-Kazyna JSC.

In recent years, Kazakhstan and Qatar have made significant progress in various areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, establishing a solid legal framework and launching a number of major investment projects.

During the conversation, the state and prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Qatar, Arman Issagaliyev met with Issa Al-Nuaimi, the Public Prosecutor of Qatar, and discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between the supervisory authorities of the two countries.

Ways to enhancThe Qatari-Kazakh Business Forum took place today on the sidelines of the 6th session of the Qatari-Kazakh Joint Higher Committee. The event was attended by His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Rashid Al-Khater, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, alongside several businessmen, investors, and representatives of major Qatari and Kazakhstani companies.
